Dear Parents and Players:
Armstrong Cooper Youth Football Association is working through plans to provide a 2020 football season in September. We will coordinate with Armstrong Cooper Youth Baseball, Basketball, Hockey and Lacrosse to cause the least disruption to their seasons while planning our own season.
We still have a couple of months for this pandemic to subside before we start practice in August and games in September / October. We will not be able to practice or play until the governor allows more than 10 people to gather together at the same location.
We’re also following the lead of the Minnesota State High School League. If they belief it’s safe to play high school football, it should be safe for us to play youth football.
In addition, we’re working with the cities of Plymouth, New Hope, and Robbinsdale to secure the football fields. Finally, we need to ensure that we have enough of the other associations to play against (Osseo, Champlin, Brooklyn Park, etc.). We are in touch with the North Suburban Football League and the Twin Cities North Youth Football League to monitor the situation.
