Program Survey
We want to hear from the ACYFA Community!
For years we have had the 5th and 6th grade levels play together. Do you feel now is the time to seperate them and have them play in the LMAA against other communites like Wayzata, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Orono and St Louis Park like the 7th and 8th graders do.
Some would say it would allow our kids to grow with each other more because they will have more experience playing with each other instead of against each other.
other positives:
Season is simple 8 games (4 home 4 away) season is done MEA week No playoffs
LMAA provides refs and EMT's
Coaches can now all work together to develop kids without the worries of interleague competition.
Negitives:
would have to travel to Wayzata or Minnetonka once possible twice a season
Chance of Saturday games increases

Metrodome and Equipment hand in
The Metrodome date this year for ACYFA is Oct 29th from 5pm-9pm....more info to come.

Sportsmanship
Message to all players, coaches, parents and fans.
The ACYFA feels very strongly about Sportsmanship and fair play. Over the next week we will be evaluating games at all levels and developing a sportmanship creed that all player and coaches will need to be accountable for on the field. This league is a league of "class-act individuals" and we want to maintain our reputation of being a learning and safe league for the youth.
From time to time there will be good articles posted in the Sportsmanship section of the site. Please view and discuss with your players. The only way to do this is if all parents, players and coaches take an active part in making sure we conduct ourselves the right way on and off the field.
